Kleos Children's Community

~ Final Evaluation ~

A  mere "institution" for abused children is not that attractive, and an uneducated America will only continue in denial. There must be an awakening that will develop something that makes a deep and lasting impression on a child who has experienced the violence of abuse. How does that occur?

  • First, all of society, individuals, professionals, businesses, corporations, and churches must recognize this increasing epidemic that is upon us, and stop expecting the state and government to do it all. We must turn our hearts toward these children in need with compassion and care.
  • Second, the heart of those working with the children must be right in wanting to serve and care for them. We must become messengers of the violence toward the children in this country.
  • Thirdly, children need to see success. They need to see human lives being made happy and given purpose & direction. They need to see that someone cares, a society that cares enough to assist them in whatever way possible in their time of need and despair.

Will they indeed go forth with a new spirit for living? Of course they will, if we imbue them with it. Certainly they will not fill the streets and jails, or live with a welfare mentality, or destroy their lives through drugs, alcohol, suicide, or disease.

Kleos Children's Community will receive them one by one and count it a privilege to touch and meet their needs and seek to be wise in all we do for them.
