My name is Jamie, I was a student there at Kleos. I came to Kleos in 1996 after living on the streets after the death of my mother. I spent 4 glorious years there, learning so much about my self! My Houseparents were first the Buomans then Tim and Judy Lash who have moved on from there now, but they really loved us children as if we were their own. During my time there at Kleos I was given the opportunity to meet the world through a positive eye!  The Duck Race fundraiser was one of my favorite activities... also the tree lot. One of the high points of my life, was the day I got to dress in a gown and walk down that faithful aisle that would open the doors, to the rest of my life. I became the first in 3 generations to get a high school diploma! Today I am 24 and am a caregiver for the elderly, and am raising two beautiful little boys. In light of all of this I do have to say I would not have been able to accomplish any of this with out the will of the Lord and the ministry of Kleos giving me a second chance in life. Thank you! Also, please tell Gordon and Vicky that I love and miss them.
